Salamander Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Buyer to join our growing business and lead end-to-end procure-to-pay activities for direct/indirect materials in a manufacturing environment. The Sr.

Buyer will interact with suppliers, issue POs, track orders, and drive process improvements in a fast-paced setting with diverse stakeholders. This on-site role requires strong knowledge of P2P systems, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure cost, quality, and on-time delivery

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement across the full Procure-to-Pay cycle.
• Experience with Ariba, Coupa, D365 or Medius P2P systems.
• Knowledge of delegation and signing authorities; supplier onboarding.

Responsabilités

• End-to-end procurement including PO execution, expediting, and close-out.
• Coordinate purchasing demand with business partners and align with best practices.
• Monitor open POs to ensure on-time delivery and resolve issues.
• Expedite or defer orders based on schedule requirements.
• Vendor onboarding and maintaining data in MRP and accounting systems.
• Set up vendor catalogs for low-touch PO placement.
• Ensure compliance with delegation and signing authorities.
• Coordinate NDAs with suppliers with Legal support.
• Collaborate with Finance and Legal to capture contracts and minimize risk.
• Work with Engineering to create item numbers and BOMs.
