Johnson Controls is seeking a Senior Buyer/Planner to own the end-to-end procurement and supply chain processes for Stack Forging Thermal Solutions. You will support production, engineering, and general business procurement while liaising with corporate procurement.
The role drives procurement strategies to support rapid growth. Three days onsite per week are typical, with collaboration across cross-functional teams to ensure material availability, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery.

As a Senior Buyer/Planner, you will own the end-to-end supply chain process for Stack Forging Thermal Solutions. You will support production, engineering, and general business procurement activities while serving as a liaison with corporate procurement. You will advance supply chain processes with a direct impact on rapid growth.
This position generally requires a commitment of three days onsite per week.
You are a strategic planner who takes pride in maintaining a seamless flow of materials through our manufacturing environment. You are hands‑on and proactive, diving into the details of our supply chain and production schedules to anticipate bottlenecks before they occur. You strive to understand manufacturing systems because you know effective planning is rooted in practical knowledge of how products are built. You are comfortable navigating complex supplier relationships and market fluctuations while maintaining focus on building a resilient and efficient operation where every component is available when needed.
You will operate in a dotted‑line capacity to central procurement, ensuring all activities are executed in alignment with JCI policies and compliance standards.
$80,000-$105,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
