Job summary

Applied Materials, Inc. is seeking a Buyer to procure materials, supplies, machinery and services for our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. You will collaborate across teams to monitor inventory, manage delivery scheduling and negotiate with suppliers to transform possibilities into realities for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Leads purchasing activities with manufacturing and engineering departments to maintain inventory at planned levels.
• Develops methods of business simplification for the procurement function and participates in ISO documentation for purchasing.
• Manages the purchasing group in the manager's absence and oversees projects, workload distribution, and training of staff.
