Job summary

Garmin Ltd. is seeking a full-time Senior Buyer Indirect Materials and Services at its U.S. headquarters in Olathe, Kansas. In this role, you will manage the acquisition and negotiation of complex materials and services and facilitate relationships with suppliers. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree, strong negotiation skills, and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Leadership experience is preferred. Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to negotiate complex contracts.
• Experience in prioritizing and managing multiple tasks.
• High level of interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the acquisition and negotiation of complex materials and services.
• Conduct gap analysis and provide recommendations.
• Interface with the Legal Department for agreement terms.
• Develop and manage supplier relationships.
• Mentor procurement associates in departmental processes.
