Job summary

Jeg's Automotive, LLC is seeking a Senior Buyer to oversee purchasing for high-performance car parts. The role focuses on evaluating products, negotiating terms, and maintaining supplier relationships to grow sales and optimize inventory in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage cataloging, pricing, and web merchandising while coordinating with accounting, marketing, and distribution teams to ensure timely availability and accurate product data.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of purchasing/sales experience in automotive high-performance parts.
• Ability to negotiate pricing, terms, freight, and rebates with vendors.
• Strong vendor relationship management and supplier onboarding experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new products from vendors and negotiate pricing and terms.
• Grow sales by maintaining assortments and pricing strategies.
• Catalog and web merchandising; maintain supplier relationships.
• Place POs and manage inventory to optimize fill rate and turnover.
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure product descriptions accuracy.
• Analyze consumer trends and communicate insights internally.
