Cosasco in Santa Fe Springs, CA, is seeking a Senior Buyer to lead end-to-end procurement, supplier performance, and cost-out initiatives in a global supply chain. The role requires strong leadership, precise order management, and clear communication with internal teams and suppliers.

The position focuses on RFQ, negotiation, PO placement, delivery management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure on-time production and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 5–7 years of procurement experience with machined components, forgings, castings, or similar technical commodities.
• Engineering background a plus.
• Knowledge of Oil & Gas industry a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across cultures and time zones.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and LEAN principles.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end procurement process from RFQ to PO and follow-up, aligned with ERP, QML/QPL, and specifications.
• Manage end-to-end PO delivery, scheduling, expediting, and risk mitigation to meet production demand.
• Develop, onboard, and manage supplier performance with reviews and scorecards.
• Support strategic sourcing initiatives to drive Cost Out at the commodity level.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for logistics and documentation.
