Stellant Systems, Inc. in Topsfield, MA is seeking a Senior Buyer to manage procurement for electronic and electromechanical parts. The role emphasizes sourcing, pricing, scheduling, and supplier liaison to ensure quality and timely delivery.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s (or master’s) in a related field with extensive purchasing experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Costpoint/ERP systems. This is a 100% onsite position with DOE compensation.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in related field; 9+ years of relevant experience or Master’s with 7+ years
• 5+ years’ experience purchasing electronic/electromechanical parts, preferably RF Commercial Military
• Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to write technical specs
• Experience with Costpoint, ERP systems and MS Office

Responsabilidades

• Check requisitions for item descriptions, part numbers and specs and place orders per policy.
• Source supply to ensure pricing, delivery reliability and quality.
• Expedite and manage open purchase orders and maintain order files.
• Interview salespeople and vendors and circulate literature to the department.
• Coordinate with departments and vendors to maximize efficiency.
• Develop new supply sources for both new and routine materials.
• Consolidate orders to leverage quantity pricing.

Overview

Job Title: Senior Buyer

Job Location: Topsfield, MA (100% onsite)

Salary: $90,000-$130,000/yr DOE

Responsibilities

• Check and examine purchase requisitions assigned for proper descriptions of items, part numbers, specifications, etc., and place orders for same in accordance with established policies.
• Establish sources of supply that will ensure reasonable pricing, dependable shipment and reliable quality.
• Expedites, follows up and administers open purchase orders.
• Maintain appropriate files on all orders in process.
• Interview salespeople and vendors and refers descriptive literature to the department concerned.
• Maintain necessary liaison between all departments within the Company and vendors to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Develop new sources of supply both for new and routine materials.
• Coordinate and combine orders of different origins to take advantage of quantity prices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field and a minimum of 9 years prior relevant experience or Masters degree and a minimum of 7 years prior experience or equivalent.
• 5+ years’ experience in purchasing electronic and electromechanical parts preferably in the RF Commercial Military industry
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience writing technical specifications and other
