Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan and Manage Procurement
• plan the demand and supply of procured materials according to the project schedule.
• Create purchase orders in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy in project requirements such as liquidated damages (LDs), shipping modes, and manufacturing schedules.
• Obtain supplier acknowledgments promptly to confirm pricing and delivery terms.
• Expedite Deliverables
• Expedite or defer deliverables as needed to meet project requirements. Prepare forecast and inventory analysis reports, actively seeking opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate and expedite all open purchase orders. Plan and implement all necessary actions, regularly perform shortage analysis to ensure material availability supports company and project objectives. Stay informed of schedule priorities and any internal or external changes. Negotiate improved delivery schedules when needed.
• Serve as the primary liaison between suppliers and internal teams for assigned open purchase orders. Communicate supplier manufacturing schedules to the Quality department to facilitate inspection planning.
• Logistics Support
• Provide required documentation to support logistics. Complete necessary SAP steps to facilitate shipments. Follow up with suppliers on preliminary packing lists and shipment readiness.
• Record Maintenance and Process Improvement
• Maintain accurate records of expediting and coordination activities. Continuously focus on improving expediting, scheduling, and shipping processes. Notify the supervisor about workload status and potential problem areas.
• Supply Chain Data Management
• Analyze and maintain supply chain data. Identify and correct data errors promptly. Create and maintain purchasing records, providing clear and timely reports.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Previous purchasing or buyer experience is Must have strong skills in data analysis using Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced Excel proficiency is essential.
• Familiarity with Power BI is a plus.
• Must demonstrate a strong ability to handle data processing and analysis.
