AIRO Group is seeking a Senior Buyer to procure assemblies and raw materials for production and to ensure on-time delivery of finished goods. The role emphasizes minimizing cost through disciplined inventory management while meeting customer service requirements.

The candidate will manage procurement from complex electronics assemblies, forecast-driven material scheduling, and SAP data integrity, with a focus on lean supply chain practices and collaboration with finance on supplier payments.

Formación

• Experience in procurement for electronics/manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills required.
• Ability to manage inventory, supplier relationships, and cost control.

Responsabilidades

• Procure all production materials from complex assemblies to shop supplies.
• Schedule materials to forecast and support lean manufacturing (Kanban, VMI).
• Participate in RMA/reverse logistics and repair cycle inventory control.
• Maintain accurate SAP data (BOMs, item master, purchasing records).
• Support Accounts Payable in supplier payment reconciliation.

Position Overview:

The Senior Buyer is responsible for the procurement of all assemblies and raw material used in production as well as the shipment of finished goods. The primary objective for this position is to minimize cost through effective procurement and disciplined inventory management while meeting customer service requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Timely procurement of all production materials from complex electronic assemblies to shop supplies consumed in the manufacturing process.
• Schedules all material to forecast.
• Active participant in the RMA/reverse logistic process. Knowledge and execution of the repair cycle and inventory control.
• Support a lean supply chain – Kanban, VMI and consignment inventory.
• Maintains accurate source data in SAP – bills of material, item master and other inventory data and purchasing records.
• Supports accounts payable in the timely reconciliation of supplier payment issues.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• BS/BA Degree in Business or equivalent education in material management
• Strong background in ERP/MRP (preferably SAP Business One)
• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel
• Strong organizational skills and able to work with minimum supervision
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably electronics
• Continuous improvement background/training is a plus

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• BS/BA Degree in Business or equivalent education in material management
