Job summary

AM Equipment is seeking a Senior Buyer to manage purchasing for their component supply base while working in a hybrid model. The role requires strong negotiation skills and fluency in either Korean or Mandarin to ensure effective communication with vendors.

You will collaborate with the supply chain team and coordinate closely with Operations, Sales, and Customer Assurance to maintain the production line flow. The position offers a compensation range of $85,000 to $100,000 annually plus bonus eligibility.

Location: Hybrid – On-site in Jefferson, OR (2 days/ week) and Lake Oswego, OR (3 days/ week)

Compensation: $85,000 – $100,000 base annually, plus bonus eligibility

Responsibilities

Own purchasing for AM Equipment’s component supply base, collaborate with a supply chain team of 3-4 members, report directly to Director of Supply Chain Management, partner closely with Operations, Sales, and Customer Assurance to maintain production line flow.

Qualifications

Fluency in Korean or Mandarin required; ability to negotiate, build relationships, and resolve day‑to‑day issues with vendors in their language and across time zones.
