Job summary

Schneider Electric Fairfield facility is seeking a Senior Buyer to manage supplier relationships, procurement execution, and inbound material flow to support uninterrupted production. You will work closely with internal teams to maintain ERP accuracy and ensure timely materials for critical manufacturing operations.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the role emphasizes strategic sourcing, shortage resolution, and alignment with total rewards and growth opportunities within a global energy

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business
  • 3–5 years in procurement or supply chain
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • ERP proficiency (SAP/Oracle preferred)
  • Negotiation and supplier coordination skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organization
  • Ability to manage dynamic priorities

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 86,400 - USD 129,600 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
