We're working with an established aerospace manufacturer in Ventura County, CA seeking a skilled Senior Buyer to join their growing supply chain team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a procurement professional experienced in complex components and regulated environments .

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead procurement activities for specialized materials, equipment, and services
• Negotiate contracts to secure competitive pricing, quality, and on-time delivery
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, quality) to support program needs
• Proactively manage material shortages and supplier performance
• Source and develop new suppliers while managing cost and risk
• Support internal stakeholders with accurate lead times, pricing, and supply chain data
• Maintain compliance with all applicable procurement and quality standards (ISO / AS9100)

What We’re Looking For :

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred — equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing or materials management
• Strong ERP experience (any system)
• Background in machined or electronic components (preferred)
• Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO standards (preferred)
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency (required for export control compliance)

Location : Onsite in Camarillo, CA

Travel : Minimal – ~1x / month based on supplier location

Compensation : Competitive base + benefits (exact salary info shared during screening)
