If you are highly motivated with business tax preparation experience, excellent communication skills, and an active, unrestricted credential (CPA/EA/Practicing Attorney), we need you to assist customers with their taxes using TurboTax Business products.

The successful candidate will manage complex business tax returns for Partnerships and S Corporations, with a strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations, and experience in preparing and filing business and personal tax returns.

What you'll bring

• At least 3 years recent experience preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065 and/or 1120-S) for at least 20 clients per season, using commercial tax software.
• Active unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney.
• Preferred: Minimum of 2 tax seasons of personal tax preparation experience, with at least 30 returns per year.
• Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week across three or more days.
• Bookkeeping experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience preparing Business Tax returns for service industry clients is strongly preferred.
• Ability to obtain related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
• Commitment to at least 20 hours/week, with 4-hour shift increments during tax season.
• Knowledge of Circular 230.
• Proficiency with technology and software.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally via video and audio.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Critical thinking, problem-solving, research skills, and determination.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to meet internet security criteria.
