Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced TRIRIGA-focused Business Analyst to independently lead requirements gathering and translate business needs into detailed functional designs for development teams. You will facilitate workshops, create BRDs with acceptance criteria, and guide QA with test strategies across multifaceted facilities programs.

Candidates should have 4–6 years of BA experience, TRIRIGA platform knowledge, and strong stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or comparable progression.
• 4-6 years of hands-on business analysis and implementation experience.
• Active Top Secret Clearance; able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Deep TRIRIGA knowledge across Real Estate, Capital Projects, Space Management, Facilities Management.
• Experience with TRIRIGA reporting, BIRT, dashboards, and data migration considerations.
• Experience with IWMS/EAM platforms and integration points.
• Strong requirements documentation, use cases, & traceability capabilities.

• Independently lead requirements gathering and analysis initiatives for TRIRIGA-based solutions
• Develop functional specifications, business requirements documents with acceptance criteria, and traceability matrices
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews across multiple departments or locations
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional designs for development teams
• Recommend TRIRIGA solutions and identify system optimization opportunities
• Provide guidance on TRIRIGA best practices, configurations, and capabilities
• Design and document process improvements leveraging TRIRIGA functionality
• Contribute to solution architecture discussions and technical design reviews
• Lead user acceptance testing coordination
• Design test strategies, develop functional test cases, and help manage defect resolution
• Validate delivered solutions against business requirements and quality standards
• Create process flows, user personas, use cases, user stories, and workflow diagrams
• Document current-state and future-state business processes
• Develop standard operating procedures, training materials, and knowledge-transfer documentation
• Serve as primary liaison between clients, business users, and technical development teams
• Facilitate consensus among stakeholders and present findings, recommendations, and status updates to leadership
• Contribute to story points, effort estimation, project planning, and timeline development
• Manage assigned workstreams independently and identify project risks and mitigation strategies
• Provide guidance, coaching, and technical support to junior business analysts

Requirements

• Active Top Secret Clearance
• Ability to commute to client location in Washington DC
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or comparable work experience with demonstrated progression in responsibility)
• 4-6 years of hands-on experience with business analysis and implementation
• Proven track record of independently managing moderately complex projects from requirements through delivery
• 3+ years of strong business analysis experience with comprehensive requirements gathering and documentation expertise
• Comprehensive understanding of TRIRIGA Application Platform functionality, capabilities, and architecture
• In-depth knowledge of TRIRIGA workflows, business objects, data structures, and integration points
• Advanced experience with TRIRIGA reporting capabilities, BIRT reporting, and dashboard development
• Working knowledge of TRIRIGA configuration, UX customization, and data migration processes
• Understanding of TRIRIGA modules including Real Estate, Capital Projects, Space Management, and Facilities Management
• Solid understanding of real estate, facilities management, workplace services, or capital project management business processes
• Knowledge of industry best practices and standards in corporate real estate and facilities operations (IFMA, CoreNet Global, etc.)
• Familiarity with IWMS platforms and enterprise asset management solutions
• Advanced skills in creating business requirements documents, functional specifications, use cases, user stories, and process flows
• Proficiency with requirements management and documentation tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms
• Experience with data analysis, gap analysis, and impact assessments
• Ability to develop comprehensive traceability matrices and requirements repositories
• Demonstrated experience with both Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall project delivery methodologies
• Understanding of ITIL, change management, and organizational adoption practices
• Experience with iterative development processes and sprint planning
• Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and testing best practices

• Professional certifications such as IIBA CBAP/CCBA or PMI-PBA (preferred)
• IBM TRIRIGA certifications or equivalent vendor-specific credentials (preferred)
• Advanced SQL skills (preferred)
• Experience with additional IWMS or EAM platforms such as Archibus, Maximo, or Planon (preferred)
• Knowledge of integration technologies, APIs, and middleware solutions (preferred)
• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or Cognos (preferred)
• Experience in federal government or highly regulated environments (preferred)
• PMP or Agile/Scrum certifications (preferred)
