Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Systems Analyst to support the documentation and enhancement of an existing enterprise application. This role requires a strong communicator who can collaborate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be responsible for learning the application quickly (without direct access), improving existing documentation, and gathering requirements for future enhancements.

• Collaborate with the application support team and business users to understand system workflows and processes.
• Review and enhance existing documentation; migrate and organize it within a new Confluence site.
• Ensure documentation is clear, comprehensive, and accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Engage with business users to elicit, analyze, and document requirements for enhancement requests.
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable functional and technical requirements.
• Use Jira and other tools to groom and manage requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, application support, and development teams.
• Participate in planning and review meetings to identify interdependencies and ensure alignment.
• Facilitate communication and understanding between technical and non-technical team members.
• Support system testing efforts by coordinating between developers and users.
• Provide ongoing consultation and support to business users and application support teams.

Experience Required:

• 10 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a software or content publishing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelors Degree required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Confluence, Jira, and documentation best practices.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working without direct access to the application, relying on collaboration and documentation to gain understanding.
• Experience writing technical requirements based on business needs.
• Self-motivated and proactive with a strong sense of ownership.
• Comfortable working in a global, cross-functional team environment.

The anticipated hourly rate range for this position is ($60-65/hr). Actual hourly rate will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law. A range of medical, dental, retirement and/or other benefits are available after a waiting period.
