Senior Business Systems Analyst – IAM

Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned business analyst with IAM experience to support planning, requirements gathering, and agile delivery. You will partner with stakeholders to refine features, manage backlogs, and drive data-driven decision making in a fast-paced environment.

Remote work is not specified; candidates authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. You will collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and testing teams to deliver four to six weeks of ready work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ additional years of equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Business Analysis, Data Analysis, Program/Project Manager, or related roles.
• 1+ years of IAM project management experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• General knowledge of IAM, RACF mainframe or SailPoint IIQ and CyberArk.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Notes, and Teams.
• Preferred data analytics experience, including SQL querying.
• Experience writing user stories in Agile and building dashboards.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and work in a matrixed environment.
• Demonstrated business/technical analyst and Agile experience.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of IAM and Senior Service Delivery Manager with planning, minutes, follow-up, email, reporting, and data analysis.
• Gather requirements from team, Product Owner, and stakeholders.
• Develop and refine Features and User Stories for Agile teams.
• Define acceptance criteria, dependencies, and risks.
• Lead backlog refinement sessions and establish story points.
• Refine Epics with Product Owner and SMEs.
• Serve as liaison for stakeholders, Product Owner, and Testing team.
• Coordinate with Scrum Masters to maintain a holistic view of prioritized work.
• Participate in Daily Standups, Agile ceremonies, Sprint Planning and Reviews.
• Drive sprint goals and maintain the team backlog with four to six weeks of ready work.
• Run queries and create progress dashboards using Azure DevOps or comparable tools.
• Create and own Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
• Organize and schedule meetings to coordinate immediate and upcoming work.
• Partner with Scrum Master and Product Owner, backing up Scrum Master as needed.

• Organize and schedule meetings to coordinate immediate and upcoming work
• Partner with the Scrum Master and Product Owner, serving as Scrum Master backup and vice versa

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ additional years of equivalent experience
• 5+ years of professional experience working as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Program/Project Manager, or related experience
• 1+ years of professional experience managing IAM projects
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
• General knowledge of IAM (Identity Access Management), specifically in RACF mainframe or comparable tools such as SailPoint IIQ and CyberArk
• Ability to effectively work in multiple Microsoft applications, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Notes, and Teams
• Preferred experience in data analytics, including SQL querying
• Experience writing user stories in an Agile environment and building/maintaining dashboards
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
