Job summary

Federated Hermes, Inc. is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to support the Sales team within the Global Technology Organization in Warrendale, PA. You will translate business objectives into requirements, develop functional specifications, and coordinate testing across multiple functions.

The role includes low-code development for Salesforce and on-call support in a hybrid in-office/remote setup. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in CS/IS (Master’s preferred), 5+ years in business

• Master’s degree in IT/business field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide business analysis support for the Sales business area.
• Translate business objectives into documented requirements and functional specs.
• Perform analysis, create functional specs, and conduct functional testing for approved projects.
• Coordinate review and validation of work by project team members.
• Facilitate design, development, testing, implementation and problem resolution across functions.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and prepare project estimates for requirements, design and testing.
• Perform low-code development for the Salesforce application.
• Onboard applications to the technology portfolio on behalf of customers.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level On-Call off hours support on a rotational basis.

Federated Hermes, Inc., a global leader in active, responsible investing, is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our Sales Team within our Global Technology Organization basedin our Warrendale, Pennsylvania office.

What You’ll Do

In this position you will

• Provide business analysis support as needed for the Sales business area.
• Determine and document business objectives. Translate business objectives into documented business and functional requirements.
• Perform analysis, prepare functional specifications, and conduct functional testing for approved projects. Coordinate, review, and validate this work when prepared by project team members.
• Facilitate the business/functional aspects of design, development, testing, implementation, and/or problem resolution.
• Collaborate effectively across multiple functional areas to achieve desired results.
• Prepare project estimates for requirements, design, and testing. Participate in agile work sessions and sprint planning, reviews, standups, etc.
• Perform low-code development for the Salesforce application.
• Initiate and manage the process to onboard applications to the technology portfolio on behalf of customers.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level On-Call off hours support on a rotational basis

This position offers a hybrid schedule (in-office/remote) and is located in Federated Hermes’ Warrendale, Pennsylvania office (15086).

The Expertise We are Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience required; Master’s degree in Information Technology Business field preferred
• Minimum of 5 years business systems analysis experience required; which includes: proficiency with business analysis methodologies, such as requirements elicitation and documentation, required
• Customer Relationship Management (CRM) experience required, subject matter expertise in finance, sales and related business processes preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce configuration, low-code development, and best practices preferred.
• Experience with Azure devops, agile methodology preferred.
• Knowledge of database-oriented analysis tools and techniques, especially SQL, is preferred
