Primary Responsibilities:

• Participate in program kickoff meetings & solutioning sessions.


• Determine project impact based on program & project kickoff sessions, cross app solutioning work sessions.


• Facilitate meetings to collect, analyze, and document current business processes


• Perform project impact analysis based on business needs


• Document information needed to define business requirements as user stories and features


• Engage requirements holders to ensure business requirements are clear, concise & complete


• Develop business use cases & scenarios to be used in UAT


• Perform business validations against requirements


• Enable information sharing between business and IT


• Establish and cultivate business relationship with internal and external partners


• Support all phases of agile software development to include initiation, design, development and testing


• Collaborate with project stakeholders and technical teams regarding enhancements, changes, issues and defects that may impact development and go live dates


• Apply business knowledge and sound judgment to develop business timelines


• Support a team-oriented work climate that enables professional development and encourages creative solutions and strategies, establishes collaboration and emphasizes quality and cost effectiveness

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ year of experience as a Business Analyst


• 5+ years of experience gathering & documenting business requirements


• Proven solid analytical, critical thinking & problem-solving skills with ability to grasp new ideas and concepts


• Proven solid interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal


• Proven ability to communicate complex ideas clearly


• Proven solid presentation and meeting facilitation skills


• Proven solid organizational skills with focus on delivering results


• Proven solid project management and time management skills with ability to balance multiple priorities.


• Proven solid sense of urgency on tasks needed to meet deliverables on time


• Proven ability to influence course of action with diplomacy and tact when others are directly accountable for outcomes


• Proven ability to translate enterprise features & high-level business needs into requirements


• Proven ability to enable information sharing between business and IT


• Proven to develop and execute project plans

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in working on large-scale technology projects with multiple integrated systems


• Experience working in Agile and SDLC


• Proven ability to apply sound judgement in making decisions

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
