Job description

Responsibilities:

1. Build excellent relationships with customers of our team as you work to understand requirements and design solutions for dashboards, reports, and analyses.
2. Develop a deep understanding of Medica's data warehouse and other data sources.
3. Design and develop new dashboards and reporting applications from end to end (data loading/modeling, reports, and visualizations).
4. Maintain and update existing dashboards.
5. Assist in team project planning and management.

Required:

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, information systems, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2. 5+ years of relevant experience including substantial work with BI tools and data visualization/reporting.
3. Experience with health insurance data and analytics.
4. Advanced proficiency in writing SQL.
5. Understanding of data warehouse concepts (star schemas, joins, indexes, etc.).
6. Strong communication skills and experience working with a team.
7. The ability to work both collaboratively and independently.

Nice to have:

1. Experience with Snowflake data warehouse.
2. Experience with SAS.
3. Experience with Oracle Analytics or Oracle Business Intelligence.
4. Experience using Git for version control and collaboration tools like GitHub or GitLab.

The full salary range for this position is $113,100 - $193,900. Compensation will depend on various factors including education, experience, certifications, scope, and responsibility. Medica offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, holidays, paid volunteer time off, 401K contributions, caregiver services, and more.
