Job description

Senior Business Development Manager US – Hearing Aid Industry New York

Our client is an established innovator in the AI space about to take on a new industry to provide groundbreaking technology to people with hearing loss. They are looking to recruit an exceptional individual to consult and assist in bringing this product to the US market.

If you are familiar with and have executive experience with the US hearing market and industry, driven to succeed, and want to join a young dynamic company, we look forward to speaking with you. This is a full-time, W2, home-office based role with a flexible location close to a major airport.

Requirements:

  1. 4-7 years’ experience in relevant business development, field sales, and/or marketing
  2. Previous work experience in a management position in the hearing aids industry or organization related to this industry
  3. Bachelor’s degree – a must
  4. Proven negotiating skills
  5. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail
  6. Self-starter, dependable, must have strong time management skills
  7. Technologically savvy with advanced Microsoft Office skills and using CRM systems
  8. Available for frequent travel (30%)

Duties:

  1. Consult and support the company strategic approach to a new Hearing industry
  2. Establish new business verticals and sales channels at the US hearing market. Have connections and relationship with distributors and key accounts
  3. Cultivate and manage relationships with distributors, resellers, local councils, and regional and government agencies
  4. Present and demonstrate hearing business and product to government, business, media, organizations & companies in meetings, conferences, and special events
  5. Engage in marketing activities and participate in exhibitions/trade shows

Measurement of Success:

  1. Achieve/exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals
  2. Amplify market awareness of breakthrough, AI-driven assistive technology
  3. Elicit positive feedback from business partners and colleagues
