BIO-CAT and BIO-CAT Microbials, part of Lallemand, are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Senior Business Development Manager to help drive our next phase of growth.

This is a high-impact role for a commercially driven professional who excels at developing strategic customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering innovative enzyme and microbial solutions. As a trusted advisor to customers and an influential member of our commercial team, you will play a key role in expanding market presence, generating revenue, and shaping long-term business success.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop and execute business development strategies that support revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and strategic market development.
  • Build strong relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities to expand account value.
  • Manage the sales process from opportunity identification through contract execution and ongoing account growth.
  • Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting.
  • Establish and achieve quarterly and annual sales objectives.
Serve as a Trusted Technical and Commercial Partner
  • Act as a technical resource for customers seeking enzyme and microbial solutions.
  • Partner with customers to understand challenges, identify opportunities, and recommend effective solutions.
  • Develop customized enzyme blends and application strategies to meet customer needs.
  • Conduct product presentations, technical discussions, and customer meetings.
  • Support customer audits and collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional service and support.
Lead Strategic Customer Relationships
  • Develop long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Engage customers through a consultative approach focused on delivering value and innovation.
  • Negotiate agreements and support the development of mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Strengthen customer retention through proactive account management and strategic planning.
Collaborate and Influence
  • Partner closely with Business Development and Sales Account Managers to drive commercial success.
  • Mentor and support colleagues through knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives and special projects as directed by Sales leadership.
  • Participate in sales meetings, business reviews, and cross-functional initiatives.
Represent BIO-CAT in the Industry
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote BIO-CAT's technologies and capabilities.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, market developments, customer needs, and competitive activity.
  • Build relationships that enhance market visibility and create new business opportunities.

Technical Skills
