Job description

Dority & Manning is seeking a Senior Business Development Coordinator to play a vital, hands‑on role in the day‑to‑day execution of the firm's marketing and business development activities. This role is crucial for managing core operational tasks, maintaining digital platforms, and ensuring the firm's outreach efforts are well‑organized and impactful.

Essential Functions:
  • Manage the sales pipeline for each service area using the CRM system, ensuring data accuracy for comprehensive tracking and reporting.
  • Coordinate the full lifecycle of external events, including webinars, seminars, conferences, and sponsorships, by handling logistics, materials preparation, and attendee coordination.
  • Oversee conference attendance and speaking opportunities, managing conference research and tracking, team selection, scheduling, and necessary communications.
  • Support the creation of pitches and proposals by drafting, formatting, proofreading, and formalizing materials, including RFP responses.
  • Streamline proposal creation by cataloging and regularly updating a library of frequently used proposal responses and content.
  • Maintain and update a representative experience library for each practice group to support business development efforts.
  • Manage the preparation and submission process for legal industry rankings and directories, such as Chambers, Legal 500, IAM, and specialized IP publications.
  • Manage the firm’s website, focusing on timely and accurate content updates, and recommending design or content improvements as necessary.
  • Manage the firm’s content calendar across various digital and print platforms.
  • Conduct project‑specific market research and data collection/analysis as required.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all practice areas, services, attorney experience, and client base to effectively support marketing initiatives.
  • Assist with various other firm projects as needed.
Required Qualifications:
  • BS degree in business, marketing, or related field required.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience required.
  • Proven experience working with large, complex data sets and multiple data sources.
  • Previous experience writing and formatting proposals, pitch decks, and other professional marketing materials.
  • Capability to lift and transport packages/cases up to 25 lbs.
  • Exceptional Technical Aptitude and Digital Fluency.
