Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• 8+ years experience as a Business Analyst/Business Data Analyst in enterprise IT or state government environments.
• 8+ years experience documenting business processes, current-state and future-state processes and data flows.
• 8+ years experience performing data analysis and documenting data elements, definitions, and business rules.
• 8+ years experience writing and interpreting SQL to perform data analysis against relational databases.
• 8+ years experience engaging with stakeholders to elicit, clarify, and validate requirements.

Responsibilities

• Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs.
• Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies.
• Identifies new applications of technology to improve business problems.
• Writes BRDs, functional requirements, and data lineage documentation.
• Collaborates with business stakeholders, data engineers, architects, and reporting teams through the SDLC.
