Senior Commercial Finance Business Partner

Seeking a strategic thinker with 6+ years of experience in strategic or commercial finance, ideally within a high-growth fintech or technology environment.

The ideal candidate must possess exceptional analytical capability to translate complex data into actionable insights, while maintaining the strong commercial instinct needed to partner effectively with senior leadership.

This role requires a unique balance of financial rigor and a pragmatic, entrepreneurial mindset to drive and scale commercial strategy in a dynamic landscape.

What You’ll Do:

• Build strong collaborative relationships with commercial leadership in the North America business to define and drive commercial and financial strategy, aligned with Adyen’s long-term growth drivers;
• Lead complex, full-funnel commercial performance analysis to assess growth drivers, strategic initiatives, go-to-market decisions, translating data into executive-level insights;
• Provide critical challenge and thought partnership on high-impact commercial decisions, ensuring robust and balanced trade-off evaluation;
• Lead North America’s Commercial planning and goal setting by partnering with regional leaders to define, track, and review commercial goals across the funnel following the global methodology.

Who You Are:

• 6+ years of experience in strategic finance, commercial finance, commercial insights, strategy consulting role or similar, ideally in high-growth, global technology or fintech environment
• A strategic and analytical thinker with the ability to seamlessly balance long-term strategic vision with effective short-term execution in a complex, dynamic and evolving business landscape
• Proven ability to operate as a senior business partner to commercial leadership, with strong commercial instinct and financial judgment
• Exceptional analytical capability, with a track record of simplifying complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across senior, cross-functional, and multicultural teams
• Hands-on, self-starting, collaborative and entrepreneurial, excited to build, shape, and scale
• Familiarity with SQL and BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI

The annual base salary range for this role is $169,000 - $232,000; to learn more about our compensation philosophy, .
