Qualifications

• Must hold a license to practice law in Michigan and be in good standing.
• At least five years of meaningful legal experience.
• Ability to independently manage matters and assume direct responsibility for client relationships.
• Strong analytical, legal research, writing, communication, and client-management skills.
• Sound professional judgment and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a collegial law firm environment.
• Experience in commercial litigation, business transactions, estate and succession planning, taxation or tax controversy, real estate, or another complementary practice area.
• Interest in developing and maintaining a long-term practice and participating in the continued growth of the firm.
• Existing book of business welcomed and may be considered in compensation.
