Job summary

SPX Corporation in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Business Analytics Developer to lead analytics architecture and platform design. You will influence technology standards, drive scalable BA solutions, and collaborate with business units across SPX.

You will also develop and maintain Qlik Sense data analytics platforms, guide BI tool upgrades, and mentor teams on BA skills and technologies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 5+ years progressive experience as Qlik Sense Developer, Programmer Analyst or BI related.
• Master's degree acceptable with 3+ years relevant experience.
• Experience with data mining and data warehouse design for dimensional modeling.
• Experience with Qlik Sense and Qlik View.
• Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Experience extracting data from SAP, IFS, Salesforce and JDE.
• Experience with RDBMS such as MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle and HANA.
• Experience delivering BI/analytics solutions.
• Experience with Agile software development lifecycles.
• Experience supporting BI tools upgrades in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead standards for BA architecture and platform design within SPX BA environment.
• Serve as lead support and development resource for BA solutions across SPX Business Units.
• Develop scalable and maintainable BA applications to meet business objectives.
• Translate business needs to technical specifications and guide BA technology choices.
• Maintain accurate architectural documents and best practices for BA teams.
