Job summary

Sinclair Community College in Dayton, OH seeks a Lead Business Analyst to serve as the senior analysis expert within IT Applications. You will lead large, strategic initiatives, translate complex needs into clear requirements and designs, and guide teams from analysis through implementation.

The role partners with business and technical stakeholders, mentors staff, and drives process improvements and automated solutions while ensuring successful delivery and organizational change.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, computer science, or a related field required; master’s degree in a related discipline preferred
• Minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible business analysis experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis activities for large and complex projects and strategic initiatives
• Elicit, document, validate, and manage detailed business and functional requirements; develop user stories, use cases, workflows, and business process models
• Translate business needs into actionable solution designs and develop functional specifications for processes, data structures, systems, and integrations
• Lead testing activities including integration and user acceptance testing; support implementation planning and change management
