Job summary

Xebia is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with 8+ years of experience to join our project team working on complex, distributed systems and large-scale transformation initiatives. The role requires strong analytical skills, technical understanding of data structures, and the ability to work across multiple teams in a delivery-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Understanding of data modeling concepts.
• Experience with distributed systems/ platform architectures.
• Experience in web-based systems development projects.
• Very good knowledge of Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document business and system requirements
• Translate business needs into clear User Stories at both high-level and technical levels
• Support backlog management, refinement, and prioritization in collaboration with Product Owners and development teams
• Work closely with multiple teams (min. 2 teams) to ensure alignment and consistency across solutions
• Participate in large-scale initiatives such as system migrations and platform transformations
• Analyze and support data models and relational database structures
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business and IT to design scalable solutions
• Support testing activities (validation of requirements, UAT support)
• Ensure high-quality documentation in Jira and Confluence environments
• Contribute to solution design for web-based and distributed systems
