Job summary

My3tech is seeking a Business Analyst (C. Advanced) in Tallahassee, FL for a 12+ month engagement.

The role supports business analysis, requirements gathering, process/workflow analysis, modernization, remediation, migration planning, testing readiness, solution analysis, documentation, and stakeholder coordination across FDOT projects. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in business process analysis, strong proficiency with Visio and Microsoft Office, experience with data migration,

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in business process analysis and requirements documentation.
Experience with process mapping and modeling using Visio.
Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Experience with data migration practices.
Experience with testing and quality assurance techniques/tools.
Knowledge of change and release management.
Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications.
Experience using SharePoint and Microsoft Teams for collaboration.
Experience with Azure DevOps for requirements/backlog management is preferred.
Exposure to Power BI is preferred.
Knowledge of Florida Administrative Code Rules 60GG-1 through 60GG-5 is desired.

Responsibilities

Research and analyze FDOT business processes and document workflows, dependencies, and cross-functional interactions.
Collaborate to develop technical specifications, business requirements, use cases, business rules, and other artifacts.
Support testing activities: regression, functional, data validation, system integration, load testing.
Gather business goals and translate them into measurable requirements supporting development.
Assist with modernization, remediation, and migration planning and documentation.
Analyze technical problems and recommend solution approaches for modernization and integration.
Document current and future state processes; identify gaps and performance measures.
Prepare business cases and feasibility studies and participate in working sessions.
Analyze data from multiple sources to provide actionable insights.
Create executive-ready materials summarizing value, risk, alignment, and feasibility.
Facilitate workshops and meetings; develop functional documentation and technical overviews.
