Citi is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for the Markets Treasury Technology team in Belfast. You will bridge business stakeholders and development, delivering intraday liquidity and data-driven solutions that support cash management and treasury workflows.

Ideal candidates will have strong data analysis, problem solving, and communication skills, with experience in banking tech and a global, hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in cash management and Intraday liquidity management for a financial institution
• Good understanding of various SWIFT messages related to payments, statements and intraday balances
• Understanding of core Markets products e.g. FX, MM, Fixed Income especially from cashflow perspective
• Knowledge of data analysis tools e.g. python, excel etc
• Awareness of industry trends and technology landscapes
• Good understanding of modern software engineering practices and technologies
• Excellent communication and complex problem-solving skills

Team/Role Overview

Market Treasury Technology team is seeking a Senior Business Analyst who has diverse product knowledge and extensive experience of working in the banking industry. The individual will be responsible for business analysis, understanding the underlying data and designing the intraday liquidity solution for our business. The role will be interface between business stakeholders and the Development team covering all phases of the software development lifecycle from requirement gathering to production rollout.
