Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for the Global Payments Network (GPN) covering US and Canadian markets. The role focuses on strategic and tactical analysis, developing pricing scenarios, and providing deal governance for third party issuer opportunities.

You will build SQL-based analyses and Tableau reports to monitor the issuer program and support growth initiatives, working with Business Development, Product, Operations, and Finance teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience performing analysis.
• 1+ years of experience in SQL querying.
• 2+ years of experience in business analysis.
• 1+ years of experience in market research.
• Master’s Degree in Business or quantitative field is preferred.
• MBA with quantitative concentration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify business challenges and opportunities and recommend solutions.
• Develop modeling and analytics for new product and pricing strategies.
• Support marketing efforts with targeted insights for new customer experiences and go-to-market strategies.
• Create and test risk models to monitor credit performance and test hypotheses.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across IT, Sales, Operations, Finance and others to improve quality, volume, service, and profitability.
• Prepare pitch materials, pricing scenarios, and deal governance for issuer pitches.
