Job summary

Rapid Eagle Inc. is seeking an experienced Business Analyst in Las Vegas, NV for onsite collaboration with stakeholders, product owners, developers, QA, and tech teams.

You will translate business needs into clear technical specifications and drive end-to-end data, system, and process improvements. The role emphasizes SQL data analysis, API understanding, and agile delivery, with responsibilities spanning BRD/FRD creation, data mapping, and UAT support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Business Systems/Systems Analysis or similar role.
• Strong ability to gather requirements and analyze business processes.
• Experience with SQL for data analysis and validation.
• Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and system integrations.
• Understanding of JSON and XML payloads.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
• Translate requirements into functional and technical specifications for dev and QA.
• Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, and data mappings.
• Identify opportunities for system/process improvements and automation.
• Collaborate with SDLC teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Analyze API specifications and support validation of REST/SOAP APIs and data flows.
• Develop process and data flow diagrams and system workflow documentation.
• Support UAT planning, test case reviews, defect triage, and production validation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and reviews.
