Job summary

Wipro Limited in St Louis is seeking a Business Analyst L4 (Contract) to collaborate with business stakeholders, capture and analyze requirements, and translate them into epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.

You will work with cross‑functional teams (development, QA, design), support UAT, maintain traceability, and drive process improvements. A BA degree and 5+ years IT/ software projects experience are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT or software development projects.
Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and requirement management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
Proven experience in writing clear and testable user stories and acceptance criteria.
Experience collaborating with QA teams on test planning, execution, and defect management.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and SMEs to gather and analyze business requirements.
Document functional and non-functional requirements clearly and comprehensively.
Translate business needs into epics, features, and user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria in tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
Facilitate requirement walkthroughs and story refinement sessions with cross-functional teams (development, QA, and design).
Support the creation of test scenarios and test cases aligned with business requirements and acceptance criteria.
Participate in UAT planning and execution, ensuring that delivered functionality meets business expectations.
Work closely with QA teams to validate test results, track defects, and ensure timely resolution.
Maintain traceability between requirements, design, development, and testing artifacts.
Assist in process documentation, workflow mapping, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring clarity, alignment, and timely communication.
