Job summary

E-volve Technology Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Business Analyst in Reston, VA to lead requirements development for a critical Intelligence Community program.

The role emphasizes business process reengineering, system requirements, and Appian-based solutions to guide engineering design from inception to delivery. You will coordinate with leads, gather and document requirements, map processes, and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Current TS/SCI security clearance with CI polygraph or the ability to obtain one.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree.
• Experience facilitating the requirements management process for federal programs is preferred.
• Familiarity with Appian applications and business process management platforms.
• Prior experience in a team lead role is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in writing engineering design documentation and translating both technical and functional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Apply systems engineering principles to analyze and define system requirements, ensuring feasibility, scalability, and integration across software applications.
• Perform analysis and research to address complex problems related to financial and acquisition systems.
• Gather requirements, design workflows, and ensure effective Appian-based solutions implementation.
• Serve as primary coordinator between development teams and end users, documenting requirements.
• Write clear, detailed, and actionable requirements for development, aligned with user needs and system capabilities.
• Create process flows and diagrams to visually represent business processes and system interactions.
• Conduct Business Process Mapping and Analysis sessions using MS Visio or similar tools.
• Collaborate with software product teams to produce engineering design documentation for developers.
• Support the development of system test plans to validate functional and non-functional requirements.
• Lead stakeholder discussions, communicate progress, risks, and requirements changes.
