Job summary

Elsevier is seeking a results-driven IT Business Analyst III to join the Clinical Learning Hub. You will partner with stakeholders to elicit requirements, analyze processes, and translate needs into actionable specifications, driving data-informed decisions and AI-enabled workflows.

The role balances business acumen with analytical rigor, delivering clear requirements, insights, and recommendations to improve efficiency, adoption, and stakeholder outcomes across the team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT business analyst experience.
• Experience in agile environments using Scrum or Kanban.
• Translate business needs into user stories and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document business processes and requirements; translate into user stories and functional specifications.
• Develop system specifications, process flows, and conversion strategies aligned with business needs.
• Create technical and functional documentation for users and stakeholders.
• Evaluate existing systems, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business, IT, remote developers) to ensure requirements are met.
• Support solution quality by maintaining test scripts and contributing to tools, processes, and best practices.
