Job summary

RBC Wealth Management is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to lead requirements delivery across projects. You will structure, elicit, analyze, and document complex business and system needs, guiding stakeholders and IT teams through delivery cycles.

You will facilitate workshops, translate business needs into clear user stories, and support testing and UAT. Strong collaboration and communication are essential in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience as a BA/BSA experience
• Proven experience in Agile methodology
• Proven ability to gather business and systems requirements independently, having strong business analysis and systems analysis skills.
• Proven experience in requirements analysis and quality documentation: Scope Modelling, Business Process Modelling, Data Requirements, Business Rules Analysis, Non Functional Requirements, User Stories, Story Decomposition, and Story Mapping, Acceptance and Evaluation Criteria Definition
• Excellent communication skills required; will be working with business stakeholders and IT stakeholders
• Excellent collaboration skills, attention to detail, gap analysis, and ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
• Deep Knowledge of requirements documentation and modeling tools (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, JIRA/Confluence, Mural, Figma)

Responsibilities

• Lead & facilitate collaborative sessions with business stakeholder groups to drive requirements discovery, analysis, and review
• Prepare requirements for review, applying various communication techniques and leading requirements walkthrough
• Analyze and document detailed business and system solution requirements using enterprise standard requirements methodology
• Verify requirements for quality and validate requirements with the impacted stakeholders
• Provide ongoing requirements/build/testing support to the developers and QA team
• Apply advanced coverage analysis techniques to ensure relationship between scope, detailed requirements, and testing through implementation
• Support UAT and PIV activities including planning, defect triage, and root-cause analysis for requirements-related issues
• Manage risks, assumptions and constraints for requirements, and communicate to appropriate parties
