Overview

A Utility client of ours is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join their IVR/Web team. They are looking for someone who has experience in eChannel applications, layout, design and usability.

A Senior Business Analyst typically leads and manages business analysis activities for projects within an organization.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:

• Leading the gathering and documentation of business requirements from stakeholders.
• Analyzing and documenting complex business processes and workflows.
• Developing and maintaining business process models and documentation.
• Developing comprehensive functional and technical specifications for system enhancements or new systems.
• Facilitating meetings and workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project progress.
• Identifying and documenting project risks and issues, and developing mitigation strategies.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize requirements and define project scope.
• Leading the development and testing of new systems or enhancements.
• Providing leadership and mentorship to junior business analysts.
• Providing training and support to users during system implementation and post-implementation.
• Participating in the evaluation and selection of software and systems.
• A Senior Business Analyst should have strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. They should have a deep understanding of business analysis principles and techniques, as well as experience with project management methodologies.
