Job summary

NVR's Architecture Team is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to deliver data-driven insights, ROI analyses, and process improvements that drive performance and accountability across Architectural Services.

You will develop annual plans, dashboards, and metrics, partner with stakeholders, and help shape strategic decisions, with a focus on cross-functional collaboration and financial rigor.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, data analytics, or related field; master's preferred.
  • 7+ years in business analysis or related analytical roles.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.
  • Experience creating dashboards, reports, and performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business data, develop dashboards and reports, and perform ad hoc analyses to drive informed decisions.
  • Develop business cases, ROI analyses, and cost-benefit evaluations to support investments.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives by analyzing workflows and implementing sustainable solutions.
  • Create and manage the annual business plan for Architectural Services, including forecasting and performance tracking.
  • Lead portfolio simplification through lifecycle management and SKU rationalization.
  • Partner with stakeholders to establish metrics, measure results, and support strategic planning and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a resource for business processes, reporting, and data systems.

NVR – the parent company of Ryan Homes, NV Homes, and Heartland Homes – is searching for a Senior Business Analyst to be integral to our Architectural Services Team, which emphasizes collaboration and innovation. You will support the Architectural Services organization by providing data-driven insights, business planning, financial analysis, and process improvement recommendations that enhance operational performance and accountability, and support strategic decision-making.

What you will be doing:
  • Analyze business data, develop dashboards and reports, and perform ad hoc analyses that drive informed business decisions.
  • Develop business cases, ROI analyses, and cost-benefit evaluations to support operational and technology investments.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives by analyzing workflows, identifying opportunities, and implementing sustainable solutions.
  • Create and manage the annual business plan for the Architectural Services group, including forecasting, performance tracking, and strategic recommendations.
  • Lead portfolio simplification efforts through lifecycle management, SKU rationalization, and portfolio optimization.
  • Partner with stakeholders to establish performance metrics, measure results, and support strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as a resource for business processes, reporting, and company data systems.
Qualified applicants have:
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.
  • At least 7 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, operational excellence, or a related analytical role.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills, including experience developing business cases and translating data into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience creating dashboards, reports, and performance metrics to support operational and strategic decisions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
