Job Description

The Business Analyst serves as a senior individual contributor within the Accounting function. This role is responsible for defining reporting frameworks, designing analytical approaches, and delivering strategic insights. The Sr. Analyst partners closely with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to identify trends, define operational metrics, and ensure reporting infrastructure supports organizational growth and operational efficiency.

Skills and Requirements

• Built reporting frameworks for operational business function
• Defined KPIs and measurement methodologies
• Designed business reporting
• Excellent Excel skills
• Has some coding-language experience or database experience **—for example, experience with Domo or Databricks/Salesforce/netsuite. They’re looking for evidence that the person understands logic and can work with data
• Understands processes and can investigate problems**, including figuring out missing or unclear data, supporting ad hoc reporting, and helping with analysis.
• Analyzed complex datasets across multiple systems
• Turned ambiguous business questions into structured analytical solutions
• Presented findings and strategic recommendations to leadership
• Improved reporting automation, data governance, and operational workflows
• Can handle varied, evolving work rather than repetitive tasks.
• The role may involve Salesforce cases or tickets from accounting and other teams, as well as addressing pain points as they arise.
