Job summary

MRINetwork is seeking a Senior Systems Designer in Indianapolis to lead the design of low-voltage building technology systems for diverse projects. You will develop construction drawings and documentation, coordinate with multi-discipline teams, and support construction administration while maintaining strong client relationships.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in building design with low-voltage systems, Revit MEP and AutoCAD proficiency, and a RCDD credential or equivalent certification.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in building design with low-voltage systems.
• Experience designing structured cabling, security, and AV systems for commercial/institutional buildings.
• RCDD credential is required or obtainable.
• HS diploma or higher; A/E degree preferred.
• Experience developing construction documents and coordinated system designs.
• Proficiency with Revit MEP and AutoCAD preferred.
• CTS or CTS-D certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design low-voltage building technology systems (structured cabling, security, AV).
• Develop construction drawings, specs, and design docs using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Coordinate systems with architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines.
• Review designs for codes and standards compliance.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to craft integrated solutions.
• Conduct field surveys and site visits to verify conditions.
• Review shop drawings and submittals and support construction administration.
• Manage client relationships and project deadlines to deliver quality design.
