Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN seeks a Senior Building Systems Technician to operate, maintain and repair complex building systems across departments. You will provide guidance to maintenance and security staff while ensuring preventive maintenance aligns with Joint Commission standards.

The role requires an Associate's degree or technical training in building infrastructure, plus experience with building control systems and related licenses.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or technical college in Building Infrastructure System maintenance (or one-year trades program).
• Four years of military experience in a related field will be considered in lieu of the educational requirement.
• Experience with Computers and various building control systems; Electrical or Plumbing license helpful.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, repair and diagnose complex, critical mechanical systems and portable equipment.
• Respond, investigate and solve all emergency and repair calls; communicate with maintenance staff as necessary.
• Plan and schedule modifications/repairs to systems with minimal disruption to mission and meet fiscal constraints.
