Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN is seeking a qualified Building Infrastructure Technician to operate, maintain and diagnose complex mechanical and plumbing systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to requests, and coordinate with the team to minimize disruption to patient care.

The role requires an associate degree in a related field and 5 years of trade experience; Minnesota engineer license preferred.

Qualifications

Associate's degree or a two year degree from a technical college related to a Building Infrastructure System maintenance program.
Five years of trade specific experience working with plumbing and mechanical systems related to Building Infrastructure.
Minnesota 1st Class A, B or C Engineer License or Chief A, B, or C engineer license required.

Responsibilities

Operate, maintain, repair and diagnose complex, critical mechanical/plumbing systems and equipment relating to Building Infrastructure.
Complete Preventive Maintenance per policies and/or procedures following the CMMS timeline ensuring regulatory compliance.
Demonstrate effective communication and planning to respond to customer needs; plan, organize and prioritize work tasks.
On-call rotation may be required; weekends may be needed based on workload.
