Job summary

A leading commercial real estate services firm in San Diego is seeking an Assistant Chief Engineer responsible for the efficient operations and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in its facilities. This role involves conducting preventative maintenance, supervising maintenance staff, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The successful candidate should have over 5 years of relevant experience and be proficient in HVAC systems, communication, and organization. A valid driver's license and universal certification for refrigerants are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related trade experience in operating mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Possess a valid 'Universal' level certification for CFC and HFC based refrigerants.
• Basic Computing Skills in Outlook, Excel & Word.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily operations and maintenance of mechanical systems.
• Supervise maintenance staff and monitor maintenance activities.
• Perform preventive maintenance duties including inspections and repairs.
