Qualifications

• ICC Certified Building Official (CBO) is required.
• 5–7 years of progressive building inspection experience.
• Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise building inspectors and manage inspection programs.
• Serve as a subject matter expert supporting the sales team.
• Conduct client visits for complex or escalated projects.
• Administer and enforce municipal, state, and federal building codes, safety, energy, and accessibility standards.
• Oversee issuance of building permits, plan approvals, occupancy certificates, and inspection reports.
• Interpret complex codes and provide guidance to architects, engineers, contractors, and property owners.
• Collaborate with fire, planning, zoning, engineering, and public works for coordinated code enforcement.
• Manage appeals, code updates, and ordinance revisions.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on inspections and permitting.
