Job summary

Synerfac Technical Staffing is seeking an experienced Building Maintenance Technician to keep facilities safe, efficient, and well-maintained in Washington, DC. This role requires hands-on troubleshooting and a strong background in building systems.

You will perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems, coordinate with outside contractors, maintain repair logs, and ensure safety standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in building maintenance or a related field.
• Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems.
• Proficient with hand and power tools and diagnosing equipment.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities, with physical lifting capability.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on building systems.
• Respond to maintenance requests and inspect facilities for safety hazards.
• Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized repairs and ensure safety standards.
• Maintain tools, supply inventory, and accurate maintenance logs.
