• Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to diagnose issues and perform repairs independently.
• Good communication and customer service skills, along with physical dexterity to lift heavy objects and work in various conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems to keep facilities running reliably.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems efficiently and accurately.
• Respond to maintenance requests and complete repairs in a timely, service‑focused manner.
• Inspect building and premises for safety hazards and take action to eliminate or reduce risks.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance when needed.

Our client, Facilities & Building Operations is seeking a Senior Building Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Senior Building Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Facilities team supporting day‑to‑day building readiness. The ideal candidate will have strong people skills, excellent organization, and a safety‑first mindset that will align successfully in the organization.

Location:McLean, VA
Pay Range: $29-$30/hr.
