Qualifications

• Two years of journey-level experience as Building Inspector II or equivalent.
• Twelfth grade education; additional training in building codes or construction is desirable.
• Valid ICC Inspector Registration Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Review building plans and calculations for code compliance.
• Conduct field inspections of residential or commercial buildings under construction or remodeling.
• Lead the residential plan check team and supervise technical staff.
