Job summary

LAUKOA is seeking an experienced Headquarters Engineering Technician to support the 99th Readiness Division Directorate of Public Works in Fort Dix, NJ. You will apply engineering design principles to repair and upgrade facilities, ensuring compliance with federal and USACE standards and energy efficiency.

The role requires strong writing and project development skills, proficiency with MS Office, and the ability to collaborate across field teams and leadership to deliver technically sound

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access).
• Experience writing technical documents for facility construction and maintenance.
• Knowledge of building construction and utility systems.
• Ability to develop cost estimates and project documents.

Responsibilities

• Provide project development services from field requirements to a complete project package.
• Develop cost estimates using RSMeans and standard sources.
• Ensure designs meet Army USACE and DPW requirements and energy efficiency.
• Collaborate with leadership and field teams to plan and document projects.
• Travel to sites as required for facility evaluations.
