Job summary

SOCOTEC is seeking a Senior Associate (licensed engineer or architect) to lead building envelope projects in Washington State. The role requires oversight of envelope design and field work across new and existing structures, with strong leadership of project teams and coordination with owners, consultants, and contractors.

The position offers full-time employment with a compensation range of USD 150,000 to USD 200,000 yearly, plus a 10% bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Engineering required.
• Masters in Architecture or Engineering preferred.
• Registered Architect or Professional Engineer in Washington state required.

Responsibilities

• Lead envelope projects for building envelope below grade, exterior wall and roof construction in new and existing structures.
• Manage projects and deliverables, including scope and budget tracking with Project Managers.
• Lead meetings with internal teams, construction managers, sub-contractors, design consultants and owners.
