Walker Consultants is seeking an experienced building envelope consultant to manage projects from investigation through construction administration. You will lead site inspections, perform field testing, and develop detailed technical reports for local and national clients.

Responsibilities include preparing proposals, developing contract documents, and conducting peer reviews. A collaborative, client-focused mindset and travel willingness are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of building envelope or related experience in building design, construction, or consulting.
• Licensed Architect (RA) or Professional Engineer (PE); Building Envelope certifications (AIA BEC, IIBEC, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Manage building envelope projects from investigation through construction administration.
• Lead site inspections and field testing activities and develop technical reports.
• Prepare proposals and clearly defined scopes of work.
• Oversee development of contract documents, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Conduct peer reviews of enclosure details and specifications.
• Collaborate with clients and team to deliver practical solutions.
